PHYSIOTHERAPY & REHABILITATION TRAINING

If you have had surgery on muscles or joints or if you have broken a bone, it is important to start physiotherapy and rehabilitation training as soon as possible.

Physiotherapy and rehabilitation training help to speed up your recovery.

WHERE TO START

One of the most important things in the recovery process that needs to be addressed first after surgery or bone fracture is regaining the feeling and control in that area.

Did I mention that my specialty is nerve problems?

The nerves must communicate well with the muscles before you can start any rehabilitation exercises. You have to create a good foundation., For this purpose I use special nerve techniques. Because there has been a severe trauma and then often a period of plaster or immobilization, your brain is disconnected from that area, as it were. Regaining this link is essential for further rehabilitation.

AND AFTER THAT:

Once this connection is back, we can slowly start building strength in the injured area. Hierbij is het belangrijk om ook de omringende spieren en gewrichten mee te nemen. The muscles must be able to move unhindered. By using Active Release Techniques and Functional Range Conditioning, among other things, we can feel whether certain structures are functioning well or less well and, if necessary, correct them. In this way, the muscles become stronger in the right place and you will not suffer from compensation mechanisms.

In addition to regaining the connection between your brain and the injured area, it is important that all muscles and joints involved can move optimally again. That’s what we do best!

PHYSIOTHERAPY

just physiotherapy?

Not quite I am a physiotherapist but I am always searching for new and better techniques all over the world. With all the knowledged gained, I have developed my own treatment method with which I achieve the best results.

The place where your problem/pain is located is just the tip of the iceberg; the end result of compensation over time. You should always look beyond the place of the pain and make sure that you not only treat the painful spot but also remove the cause in order for the problem to not come back.

By thinking and looking beyond standard physiotherapy, your problem can be solved quickly and permanently.

Most problems are solved within 6 – 8 sessions.

WHY CHOOSE PHYSIOTHERAPY

RAMON VERDEL

When you have complaints, you want to get rid of them as quick as possible. Maybe you have already tried everything but unfortunately your complaints are still present to the same or lesser extent. We do it a little differently. By using our own treatment method, we solve problems that did not seem solvable before. It is not magic that we use but simply a combination of the best techniques from around the world that fit our way of thinking. We will never use techniques that we ourselves do not support.

We believe in the power of personal relationships and contact. We take the time to listen to you to get to know not only your complaint, but also you.

What you can expect from us:

  • Personal approach.. Although every body has more or less the same building blocks, every complaint is different. By finding out exactly where your complaint comes from and what other systems have an impact, we can make a personal plan to get you back where you want to be.
  • Clear and understandable plan. No difficult words. You have to understand what we are doing, otherwise it won’t work.

  • Result. And that is often faster than you think. The treatment techniques we use are unique in the Netherlands and are very effective. We are frequently abroad to learn new techniques or to improve on our current techniques to be able to help you better.

The art of physical therapy begins at the first appointment. We take the time to get to know not only your complaint, but also you.

In acute complaints, the musculoskeletal system (muscles, joints, etc.) is often involved. In long-term complaints however, rarely only the musculoskeletal system is involved. In addition to the movement of bones and muscles, we look for the relationships and connections with the other systems that are active in your body. Think of your lifestyle, breathing, digestion, immune system, sleep, stress and mindset.

By thinking and looking beyond standard physiotherapy, relationships are made faster and the solution to your problem is often closer than you think.
